"Grimwood orphanage children Nottingham"
I am looking for the brothers and a sister of "DUDLEY GRIMWOOD" known to us as "Grandad Tom",living in East Ham, but born in 1926 in Romford Essex. We believe that after both parents died Dudley went to an orphanage with about 6 brothers and one sister who was separated from them. We think that this sister may be in Canada
Dudley's parents were THOMAS HENRY GRIMWOOD c. 1896 ish and MARJORIE VICTORIA LAST. Dudley had a sister called PEGGY GRIMWOOD

Yes some of the names Brian and Denis Grimwood are making sence. This is the family Im looking for. Brian and Denis are no longer alive I wonder what happened to the rest of them.

Peggy is going on holiday to visit her aunt Mrs. Nora Hammond in Montreal. Her fare has been paid by her grandfather, W. H. Last.

Her nearest relative in England is her father, Thomas Grimwood of 101 Fieldway, Becontree Estate, Chadwell Heath.

Looks like Marjorie who died in the March quarter 1934 is the same as the Birth of Michael Grimwood March quarter 1934. She died in childbirth or from complications I guess. So this must of been when the children went to the orphanage in Nottingham.
I now have some tree matches so have sent out messages, so fingers crossed we will find some living relations.
