I am searching for my grandfather; Frederick Greav

I would welcome any information about my grandfather, Frederick Greaves, although Frederick may not be his first name and we may not have the spelling of Greaves correct.

Details, as we believe them are; he was Irish. Had a sister called Rhoda (Rhona?). She was red haired, he may have been also. He fought in the army in World War 1 & survived.
In 1920 he was due to marry Kate Annie Bowra who had a daughter by him, Marjorie who was nearly 1yr old. At the last minute Kate Annie did not go through with the marriage. Family myth is that she didn't want to go and live in ireland. She was a Londoner from Tooting so at some time Fred was on leave or living in London. She was born in 1883 - he may be older or younger than her.

It is possible that his mother lived, after 1920, in Kensington (so maybe he stayed in London). The Greaves family knew about Marjorie as the sister Rhoda introduced herself to my mother (Marjorie) in 1940. At the time Rhoda said she was living in Hebdon (?) St., Streatham and asked my mother to visit her. Marjorie tried to contact her but the family had been evacuated.

Any help would be appreciated
