Richard Evans was the second husband of my widowed grand mother, Alexandra Hatton (nee' Phillippo).

Marriage 1943 Q3.
Richard Evans. Hatton, Dist E.Elloe, Vol 7a, P 955,

They were married at St Matthew's Church, Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire.

Richard Evans father was listed as David Evans, retired.

The marriage was disolved.

On the marriage certificate for Richard and Alexandra they are listed as age; Richard 30, Alexandra 40.
Gran was born Aug 1902, therefore it would make sense that Evans was born around August 1912 but no earlier than July.

Could one of these be the correct birth record for Richard?
Births Sep 1912 (Covers July, Aug & Sept)
Evans Richard Lewis Corwen 11b 650
Evans Richard Carlisle Barrow F. 8e 1396
Evans Richard Bennett W.Derby 8b 452

On the marriage cert for Richard and Alexandra he was noted as serving in H.M.Forces, residence at time of marriage appears to be "Brockenhurst, Hants". This could be an army barracks, (not confirmed).
There seem to have been military hospitals, schools of administration and other units at Brockenhurst in 1943.

Does anyone know of Richard Evans ancestry or later history please?
