Trying to find out what happened to Lily May House b1894-my husbands paternal Grandmother & his Aunt Joy. Lily first married Raphael Bellenie who was killed in WW1 at Ypres in 1915 when her son was only a couple of years old.
She later married Henry Richard Ellis, a merchant seaman, in 1920 & lived in Ashdown, Fawley. They had a son, Alan R who died in 1957 in a Sanitorium hospital at Bournemouth, aged 35(he lived in Sullington, near the South Downs.), and a daughter, Joy Edna in 1925. Would love to know more about Lily May, & if Joy or Alan had a family. Hope someone can help. Thanks
