Please help people if you can.....
Does anyone out ther have any idea about my GG Grandma's earler years as she was adopted in possibly the areas of Bow Bell,Camberwell,Bermondsey.
She was born in 1882.
Now she was adopted by a Sidney Egginton and Frances Martha Egginton formerly Tyler and then they named my GG Grandmother Frances Martha.
Does any one know anything about these records.
I got all info about her from when she got married to my GG Grandad Frederick Parr Heath in 1905.

There was no formal adoption until 1927 so there would probably be no records regarding your GG Grandma.

The details that Astra posted are the reference numbers that you can use to order the marriage certificate of the couple who adopted her.

St. George in the East is the registration district.
1c is the volume number
900 is the page number.

I don't understand who Dawson Isabella is or Jonh Potter.

I think Sidney had married twice as he was def married to a Fanny Martha formerley Tyler.

Isabella Dawson and John Potter are nothing to do with your family. They are just the other couple on the same page of the marriage register. Sometimes there are two couples and sometimes there are 4 couples all on the same page.
