Ah, Grace, what you didn't tell me was that there was a whole thread underway with info in it already -- you just asked me your question in that other thread, rather than doing as Janice suggested. Lucky I was too busy to get right on to it ... |

Sorry yes I had gone to bed!! Yes Henry is Gt Grandfather and Susannah is his Aunt, the? is why did she go to Canada, and her surname is now Delsall, of which I can find no answers, did she get married before she went, or when she was over there, her "memory "card says interred in Canada and grave no, but canada is a big Place. Sorry for the delay Lynne, her husband was Henry Cranfield, he was illegitimate, I have proof of that. Susannah definately went to Canada, I have a printed card with info. of her death and my husbands father talked about his mother talking of an Aunt of hers who lived in Canada. Thank you for your help. Beth |

A relative of my husband, Susannah Cranfield in the 1851 census aged 11yrs. Recently an Aunt of his passed away, and in her late husbands bible was found a card telling of her death in Canada in 1893 aged 48, loving sister of Emma Cranfield, she did not have a sister Emma, but a sister in law with that name, this would be my husbands GtGt Grandmother. The problem I have is I cannot find any info on that surname let alone her, any advice would be very welcome |
