I now have some 30 contacts with others resarching this line of descent and we are all stuck at Charles Corby 1766/73 - 1861, m to Sarah nee Brown 1773 on 4March 1828. Charles 1801, Edward 1806, FREDERICK 1808, ( my line of descent ) Joseph 1811 and Henry 1816. We also have the children's baptism dates. all at St Michael's Church, Coventry. |

If Charles didn't die until 1861, he should be on 1851 census - at least - with birthplace info. |

Are you sure about his year of death? Can't find them in 1841 or 51. |

Unless Graham has the 1861 death cert, he can't possibly know that it relates to a man born almost 100 years earlier |

I hope Graham doesn't take another 7 years to return to this................ |
