Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 34 Send Message	I am trying very unsucessfully to trace my family. I can get back as far as John Clements b 1825 ish Lambeth and Elizabeth Burley b 1829 Brighton,Sussex and the names of their children. James Thomas b 1846, John b 1850, Mary ann b 1855, Elizabeth Harriet b 1856, Richard John b 1859, Henry Frederick b 1861, Joseph David b 1862, William b 1865, Jane E b 1866 and Thomas b 1871, most of them were born in the lambeth, southwark area. Those are the ones we know of,although there may be more. My direct line comes from Joseph David and he married Eliza Frances Anderson b 1859, Newington. Their offspring were Joseph b 1883, Walter b 1884, Alice b 1887 Eliza b 1890, Edward b 1894, Thomas b 1897 and James b 1898. Joseph David later remarried Martha Ayres formeley Hutchings nee Greenwood and had William (my grandad) in 1904 and Matthew in 1906. I believe that John 1825 father was Thomas and a fishmonger, but I cannot clarify this and I also do not know who Johns mum was and I would desperately love to find out. If anyone is descended from any of the above persons, it would be lovely to hear from you. Best Regards Nicola
