Member Since: September 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	STAINLAND, Sowood, Barkisland and Scammonden. My family were all from this area in the 19th Century, and most worked in the mills. If the Cleggs and Walkers of this area are of interest to you too, then we should be in touch.Other names which crop up with amazing regularity are; Stancliffe, Hamer Sutcliffe, and Gledhill.
