I am trying to trace my Great aunt's deascendants.Her Mother was Hannah (nee Barlow) She married Timothy Clarke at St. Mary's Church Liverpool 30th March 1862. I don't know her name. My Grandfather ( her Brother) was Edward Clarke.DOB29/12/1872. He went to Christ's Hospital School in Liverpool from 2/10/1883 until 28/12/1887, when he was apprenticed to LNER. He went to Rhodesia to police the railway being built from Bulawayo to Salisbury. Injured in the Boer war.Returned to England and married my Grandmother Eliza Mary Anne Ackerman from Bridport Dorset. He lost touch with his sister and I don't know when his Mother Hannah died, any information would be most welcome. Margaret Keith (nee Clarke) |
