I am trying to find out any info on my Great Gran MINNIE AMELIA CARNEY, born 1878 . she was born in India. Her dads name was Michael Carney. He was in the British Army obviously in Bharlie?? India when Minnie was born. He was a Drum Major in the 2nd West Surrey Regt! I have no info on any of them.. I would love to find out her mums name and where the Crneys came from!

THIS IS HER SHIRLEY. How do we find out her mums surname? bet we have no way of doing it?

She is 23 on the 1901 census so b c 1878, May be they had another daughter Minnie Jane who died and they named the next as Minnie Amelia
