hi everyone
can anyone please help me trace a little boy who was born c 1896. in port adelaide. he was born out of wedlock to my gr grandmother eva louisa burgess (she was also known as louisa).b in kangaroo island in 1873. i have found that eva got pregnant to a sailor of a swedish ship which docked in port adelaide. the father was adolphe and i think the boy was named edward adolphe. from what i have found, he was sent back to kangaroo island straight after he was born, to be raised by eva's family, and she was sent to whyalla as a housekeeper where she met my grandfather alfred bristow. we dont think he ever knew about edward. unfortunately this little boy died when he was about 6, i dont know what he died of, or any records or certificates. i would really apreciate it if someone knows how i could get info on his death.
thanks so much, cheryle
