I am tracing my husbands family, and am stuck at william(born1815) and eliza(born1817) they had 4 children Richard,Charles,William and Edward, I found the family in the 1851 census but they arent in the 1841 census, can anyone help where do i look?

Which part of the country should they be in and when and where were the children born?

Was wondering the same about a marriage after 1841 given the ages of the two children on 1851 census

Have been trying to look at an image on Ancestry but the site is still playing up a bit

My ancestry also playing up. Torpoint comes under St Germans in 1841, but cannot search at moment. I was assuming they are not married in 1841, so he could be elsewhere including in Devon.

Possibly get the marriage certificate to get William's father's name, which might help place him in 1841?

Will have to be that route I think Patricia.
I can find nothing for him in Stratton or St Germans area.
None are a Mason/masons lab

I looked at that one GB ,Mary is a farmer so I assumed Son William,if he is son,was farming with her.

William Brock from Launcells is married to Charlotte in 1861 and 1871, so a different one.
