My grandfather was born Charles James Atherton in 1898 (Banwell, Axbridge), married my grandmother, moved to Scotland and disappeared in 1928. Did he remarry (didn't divorce my grandmother)? Did he have more children? Did he move back to Somerset? Can anyone please help? Although I never knew him and he left my dad at the age of 8, I would like to know what happened to him and where he went and would be very grateful for any help. Anne
