If you find a Trying to Find (surname) thread dated before mid-August 2007 .......


........ do PLEASE send a personal email to the poster.


Before this date, no answers were directly posted on the threads, people with possible information ahd to email the poster directly through GR.


This means that

a) their queries may already have been answered and you are duplicating efforts

and

b) they may very well NOT look back on here!

Thanks!

I think people are putting their surnames into the Search engine, coming up with the thread and "bingo!!!" Let's contact them.

Of course, we never used to be able to repy on the actual thread on Trying to Find ............. so there is no evidence that the peeps asking for help actually got it.

It's the reason why I thought this might be useful, if we can only keep it near the top, and IF people read it!!
