Wondering if someone is able to help me here please.
My grandfather William John Marks lost his wife in 1939
and re-married Dorothy? sorry have no surname.

I have no idea if they did marry but it will be nice if I can find a certificate. They went on to have 2 children, Bertie and Margaret
who I think were born in the 1940's. Margaret could have been born in early 50's.
All I remember is that Beritie married in 1966, cup final day wasnt a good idea.! He and his wife went to live in Canada,
Toronto I think.
I have no contact and of course they could have moved back to England after Berties father died abt 1980 in Peterborough.

In 1939 William was living in Poplar but in the 60's they were living in Finchley, North London. If they had married it could have been East or North London.

I shall be very grateful if there is someone that could help me
