June Saxby and ? - tracing without a name

Hi would appreciate some advice - I am trying to trace my birth father, have some info about him but no name. He knew my mother June Saxby in London in 1953. He was apparantly born in the UK but raised in NZ where his grandfather owned a clothing factory. He studied economics at university and had a secretarial post in London when he met June.
What would be the best way of trying to trace someone without a name to go on? Anyone done this?
